Data Deletion Instructions

ZenTalksAI is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you full control over your data. If you wish to disconnect your WhatsApp Business Account and request the complete deletion of your data from our servers, please follow the instructions below.

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Disconnect via Facebook Business Integrations (Recommended)

This is the primary method to revoke ZenTalksAI's access to your WhatsApp Business Account and trigger deletion of all associated platform data:

1. Log into your Facebook account and navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Business Integrations.
2. Locate ZenTalksAI in the list of active integrations and click Remove.
3. To request the immediate purging of your historical message logs and account data from our database, please send an email to care@zentalksai.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include your registered email address.
4. We will process your request and permanently delete all associated Platform Data within 24 hours, sending you a confirmation email once complete.

Option 2: Request via Email

1. Send an email to care@zentalksai.com from the email address registered to your ZenTalksAI account.
2. Use the subject line: "Data Deletion Request".
3. In the body of the email, please include:
   • Your registered email address
   • Your WhatsApp Business phone number
   • Your registered Business Name

What Data Gets Deleted?

Once your request is verified, we will permanently delete all associated Platform Data within 24 hours. This includes:

• Your ZenTalksAI account profile and login credentials
• Meta Access Tokens and WABA IDs stored in our database
• WhatsApp campaign history, message logs, and webhook payloads
• Flow and message template definitions and drafts
• Contact lists, interaction records, and analytics data

Data Retention Policy

User interaction data (such as webhook payloads and messaging logs) is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the service, and is automatically purged from our database after 90 days. If you revoke access or submit a deletion request, all associated access tokens, WABA IDs, and message logs are securely wiped from our systems within 24 hours.

Important Note Regarding Meta's Data

Data that Meta Platforms, Inc. retains (such as overarching message delivery records, WhatsApp billing data, and their own network logs) is controlled directly by WhatsApp. To delete that data, you must navigate to your Facebook Business Manager and manage your data deletion directly through your WhatsApp Business account settings.
